Madeline ~ 14 Days New | Grosse Pointe Newborn Photography

Sweet little Madeline was a long awaited arrival to her family. Her big brother Luke somehow, eerily, knew that he was going to get a baby sister, even before his mommy and daddy told him! Madeline’s in-home lifestyle photo session was a lot of fun, but she did give us a run for our money by wanting to stay awake the  majority of the time. I think she just didn’t want to miss out on a single thing during her photo session! She did fall asleep for us at the very end so that I could get some sweet cuddly, sleepy photos of her. Meet Madeline Elizabeth!

Madeline’s family has a wonderful Goldendoodle named Riley. Riley has been a member of the family for a long time, so it was only fitting that we got some images of her with her new little human sibling. This is how Riley spends much of her time when she’s in Madeline’s nursery. Such a good dog!

Madeline’s mommy had an idea to incorporate big brother Luke into some action sibling shots with this sweet heart shaped train track. I’m not sure what Madeline made of her brother driving train circles around her, but Luke thought it was pretty great!

Such a beautiful family! Made even more full of love, and just a little more feminine and pink with their newest addition. You wouldn’t be able to guess that we worked REALLY hard to get big bro to smile for us here would you? He was reminded of his list of special rewards for good behavior. That turned his mood around.

So. I have been d-y-i-n-g to capture an image like this for nothing short of 4 years now. I’m in love!
