Precious baby Alexandra graced my studio with her beautiful and very sleepy presence last August. Really. She slept through her entire photo session debut! We had to wake her up at the end to get some awake photos! Now she is 6 months old and has such a lively and funny little personality! Alexandra came to visit me in my studio again and she brought her big brother Braden with her this time. She didn’t sleep through this session. 😉
Alexandra’s mommy and I have a lot in common. We both love to shop! We also both love adorable photo props and oh-so-cute baby clothes. Because, let’s face it. Babies are already adorable, but no one can deny that some adorable clothes don’t make them even MORE adorable! Miss Alexandra has a pair of baby Uggs that I was pretty jealous of. Wish I had gotten my daughter a pair at that age! So stink in cute!! Here is Alexandra sporting some super cute leggings that her mommy found for her.
That smile. It’s infectious is it not?!
Baby girls and tutus. The two things pretty much go hand in hand. (At least when your mommy is a girly girl!) This is one of my favorite images from the session. She isn’t looking directly at the camera, but I just love it! It’s too sweet and her face is so natural and beautiful. I can’t decide which version I like better. The original or the warmer, softer version below. Which one gets your vote?
I’m also a fan of this image. Sometimes it’s the little details that often don’t get documented because they aren’t common focus. Look at how beautiful her little outfit is!
I told you Alexandra brought her big brother along with her! Here he is!
Meet Braden. He’s quite the ham. Ask him any question and his reply will be “Batman.” Seriously. No lie. I asked him what kind of ice cream was his favorite, and his reply was “Batman.” Now I know that Superman ice cream exists… but if there is a Batman flavor that I don’t know about, well, Braden is way more hip than I am!
These expressions are priceless. These little bad boy faces are my favorites. It doesn’t always have to be all smiles all the time in my studio! Let’s face it, we all know that babies and children are not all smiles all the time! So, why not capture some of their individual faces and true personalities?!
OK. Back to the baby. 🙂 How seriously precious is she?!
Happy half-year birthday Alexandra! I can’t wait to see you again and maybe have some cake smashing fun!!
