This little munchkin is just as cute as can be! Hazel turned two and we took photos to remember her exactly how she is now. Kids grow up so fast don’t they?! Birthday’s are a great time to take photos to document their growth.
The pinwheels that Hazel’s mommy brought for her to play with were the perfect touch to their family portraits. They helped Hazel to warm up a little and were a great, fun prop!
At first, I thought that the light was not my friend the day of Hazel’s photos, the wind certainly was not. But, after I got deep into editing, I fell in love with this soft beautiful light that was highlighting the family. It really set a beautiful tone to the images.
All little kids are goofy. I love it when I can capture some of that goof for their parents. 🙂
I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I’m just a little bit, OK. maybe a lot obsessed with curly hair. My hair is straight as a board and I always wanted to have curly hair as a child. Now, when I get a client that has curly hair… I swoon. The way the light hits those curls and breathes life into them… I just can’t get enough!!! The image below is precisely what I’m talking about. The wind wasn’t in my favor this day, but, no matter, I still caught those beautiful, well lit curls!! 🙂
After walking down the pier and chasing seagulls, Hazel ran to her mommy and I got a beautiful little series of mommy & me images. So sweet.
Happy Birthday Hazel!!
