This handsome little man was such a joy to photograph as a tiny newborn, and now that he’s one, I still feel the same way! Andrew is such a delightful, fun little guy. So sweet. I was thrilled to be called to celebrate his birthday in my studio with him! First, take a look at one of his newborn images. That’s right. Go ahead. Ooooh and aaahhhhh. 😉 Then take a gander at what a sweet, handsome little man he’s become! My how time flies!
Andrew’s mommy told me that he’s a bit of a momma’s boy. It certainly showed during his one on one time with mommy in the studio.
But as soon as big brother Alex arrived, it was clear that Andrew is pretty smitten with his sibling! Andrew likes to blow kisses. super adorable, wouldn’t you agree??!
Such a gorgeous family! And those boys are so clearly loved by everyone who meets them, photographer included! 😉 Andrew’s mommy asked me to create a birthday board displaying his one year stats for him. I think it turned out pretty cute! The goal was to have Andrew hold it for some photos and then it would be hung up on a wall in his bedroom. Andrew, however, wasn’t so keen on our photo taking idea. We gave it a good try though!
This beautiful rocking chair was made by the boy’s grandfather. How seriously cool is that?! I LOVE it when clients bring sentimental items to incorporate into their photo sessions! We finished out session with a little jam session to some classic Beatles music. Big brother Alex is a BIG Beatles fan and he happily showed me how he sings and plays along with the songs. He doesn’t like to share his special guitar though and was very quick to pull it away from curious little toddler hands.
With a lot of persuasion, we did manage to get Alex to allow his little brother to use the guitar pic and play a few cords. Alex was less than thrilled about this. Oh well. A good sharing lesson was learned: when it’s your birthday you get special treatment! 😉 Happy Birthday Andrew!!
